Ergonomics Assessment Level 2
Ergonomic assessments involve analyzing a workers task and the conditions of the workplace by taking into account each individual's human mechanics, workplace requirements and job duties. A proper assessment ensures that workstations are set up to fit the body shape and work behaviours of individual workers, and can go a long way in reducing musculoskeletal injuries (MSI).
A Level 2 assessment consists of reviewing the risks, opportunities and recommending solutions to prevent MSIs. A Level 2 assessment also includes an in-depth evaluation using a systems approach to review and make recommendations on the proper setup of workstations and tasks. Level 2 assessments are completed by our Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist (CCPE).
